What a week! I didn’t work at all. I was in court for Jury Duty; it took 3 days to select 12 jurors and 2 alternate jurors. Luckily I wasn’t picked – I would have say that I’m bias or tell them that people make mistakes and who am I to judge them- it’s the truth.
I only got about 3 hours of sleep on Thursday night, between trying to get packed and cleaning, etc. I was up at 12:30 am on Friday. My bro and I picked the car at the Airport, which was 10 minutes away. My niece was so excited to go, she was awake and ready by the time we got home w/ the car. After meeting up with the mini-van, all of us drove down to Disneyland and got there a little before 10am. Even though it was a Friday; the happiest Place On Earth was so crowded and hot as hell! Note to myself to go on a school day next time. We got a deal on the 2-day park hopper pass for $90 per person. It’s quite convenient to not deal with cars and parking during all of this since our hotel was around the corner-probably 3-5 minute walk from Disneyland.
=) Wow, it’s been 10 years that I’ve been to Disneyland and 5 years for Disney World. Even though I don’t have the same excitement for Mickey and the other characters. It’s great to see the kids getting so hyper and excited! Especially for the Main Street Electrical Parade at California Adventure. Hopefully I’ll bring my niece back in a few years, when she’s about 6-8 and when she’s a lot taller that way she can play the rides.
