Cali. girl spending a mini winter on the East Coast.
It’s 5:45am. Waiting for my ride to SFO, I’ll be going to Philly for 2.5 weeks and two days in NYC. I’m not sure why I’m so nervous about the trip? It’s not like I’ve never been there or never gone up to Tahoe for skiing, but 2.5 weeks in the cold sound a bit scary for a Northern Californian girl !! Feel like I haven’t packed enough! Oh well, there’s always a mall if I need anything.
I’ve got my books and mini laptop with me. Hope it’s a good trip! =)

My 2012 New Year’s Resolution

Happy New Year Everyone!
It’s that time again, isn’t it? When we’re all supposed to look back over the previous year and take note of the good and bad. Whether we succeed or not, there’s always a hope that things will be better the following year, so now it’s time for us to move forward, to start fresh!!
My New Year’s resolution for 2012 is:
1. A New Attitude.
2. A New Body.
3. A New Job.
4. A college degree.
5. Finally.. New Friends !
*_~ Let me know what is your new year’s resolution??

Gimme a break, gimme a break, break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat Bar! LOL
=) Kit Kat anyone? My friends got me some kit kat from Japan two days before the tsunami hit. My heart goes to the Japanese people! =( It's terrible what happened in Japan. I hope everyone help donate some $$, even a little goes a long way! I hope my donation will be matched through my friend's employer/company.
"Guess what the most popular flavor of Kit Kat is in Japan right now?? Did you guess original? Strawberry? Green tea? Believe it or not, the top-selling variety of Kit Kat in Japan is soy sauce. But what may be even harder to believe is that soy sauce isn’t even close the the most unusual flavor available in Japan today.
School and university exam season upon Japanese students, Kit Kats have also been finding their way into school lunch boxes as a good luck charm. Kit Kat, an expression invented in Britain in the 1930s, sounds close to "kitto katsu," a Japanese exam-season mantra that literally means "I'll do my best to make sure I succeed." Tens of thousands of students will find the snacks in their lunch boxes over the coming weeks, mostly placed there by ambitious parents anxious for their success."
omg! I didn't realize there are over 80 varieties of Kit Kat favors!! WOW!
(Ok, maybe I'm too naive and need to travel more!!)

My two weeks notice!
Wow! *_~ One of my classmate sent me this! What a surprise!! She's the best classmate ever!! It was shipped FedEx.. I was thinking to myself, did I order anything from amazon again? It's amazing how fresh and cold the strawberry was! The dry ice was still very cold.. =) It was yummy and so good!!
Yes! I finally turned in my 2 weeks notice at work. It's been nearly six year commuting over the Bay Bridge five days a week (not including the weekends). I am not going to miss the traffic, but will *miss* all 120 of my co-workers...
Life goes on right? Just feel like I'm not going anywhere anymore! Nope I did not look for a new job nor planning too. MOney is going to be tight but I think I'll be ok till school ends.. I might probably get a part time job.. (maybe not.. haha..) or just a school loan. (Whatever!)
=) I am nervous and exciting about the future!
